Woven Joy began in late 2005 under a program called Micro-Enterprise Development. The focus of Micro-Enterprise Development is to supplement the income of nationals from impoverished nations and countries around the world through training and small business development.

Woven Joy is a part of this exciting endeavor in the Philippines. Woven Joy creates woven bracelets and other products by hand for selling both locally and internationally. They offer a variety of style designs and color combinations, over 80 different colors to be exact.
